Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and foster open-door culture with recognition programs.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; resolve concerns; lead events and adoption partnerships.
- Operations & Compliance: Manage inventory, conduct safety walks, review cameras, maintain standards, and respond to pet health issues.
- Financial Leadership: Drive sales, communicate objectives, and optimize processes for efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven retail leaders with 3+ years management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial savvy, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, conflict resolution, and creating positive environments. Vancouver location offers dynamic retail setting with growth potential.
