Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; deliver reviews, recognize achievements, and build an open-door culture using Voice of Associate feedback.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety/health, conduct Core/Services Walks, review cameras for safety, manage inventory, and partner on events/adoptions.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and adapt to changing environments.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team building, conflict resolution, operational efficiency, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
