Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; foster open-door culture and deliver reviews on time.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions, events, compliance, inventory, and safety protocols like Core Walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance, communicate objectives, and adapt to changes.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Skills include team building, problem-solving, delegation, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced retail setting.
