Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key targets, champion exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, conduct monthly walks, maintain standards, manage inventory, review cameras for safety, and handle sick pets.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze metrics, communicate objectives, and optimize processes for continuous improvement.
