Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; deliver exceptional service; manage escalations; conduct compliance walks; oversee inventory and safety via camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategy for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include recruiting, coaching, customer service, operations, and adaptability to flexible schedules. Pet care knowledge is a plus.
