Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, performance reviews, training, and succession planning. Foster an open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers. Manage pet parent interactions, conduct monthly walks, monitor cameras, and maintain policy compliance.
• Business Management: Analyze performance, execute corporate strategies for profitability, optimize inventory, and communicate objectives to drive results.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and development, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
