Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving exceptional service and efficient daily execution in our Washington, DC location.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture with high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; manage pet parent interactions, conduct safety walks, and oversee inventory and compliance.
- Business Management: Analyze performance metrics, execute corporate strategies, achieve profitability goals, and lead events with community partners like adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
