Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open-door culture and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; handle concerns; lead events and compliance checks; manage inventory and opening/closing procedures.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; review cameras for safety and coaching.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership in dynamic settings, pet care passion, HR proficiency, and skills in operations, customer service, and financial oversight. Flexibility for varied schedules is essential.
