Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and uphold our vision, mission, and values while ensuring efficient daily execution.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, handle reviews, grievances, and foster engagement through open-door culture and recognition.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards, conduct walks/audits, manage inventory, review cameras, and oversee openings/closings.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability by executing strategies, analyzing performance, root-causing issues, communicating objectives, and partnering on events/adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership to build high-performing teams, customer service passion, operational savvy, and pet industry knowledge.
