Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, training, and succession planning. Build open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and parents. Manage pet parent interactions, events, compliance, inventory, and safety protocols like Core Walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability by executing strategies, analyzing metrics, root-causing issues, and communicating objectives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in retail management, proven leadership in team building and financial results, strong customer service focus, and pet industry passion. Skills include delegation, process improvement, compliance, and adaptability to dynamic retail environments.
