Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, terminations; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, mentoring, and succession planning; recognize achievements.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets and exceptional pet parent service; conduct Core and Services Walks; manage inventory; review cameras for safety; partner on events and adoptions.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; communicate objectives; maintain compliance with policies and ethics.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Must excel in communication, problem-solving, delegation, and adapting to change. Flexible scheduling required.
