Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, deliver reviews, and foster engagement through recognition and open communication.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; handle pet parent concerns; lead events; maintain standards via walks and camera reviews; manage inventory and openings/closings.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze metrics; communicate objectives; improve processes continuously.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Must excel in delegation, problem-solving, compliance, and adapting to dynamic environments. Experience in pet retail preferred.
