Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop, and recognize associates; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; address grievances and build open-door culture.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for compliance and coaching.
• Operations & Finance: Collaborate on events, communicate objectives, prioritize safety, and respond to changing environments for optimal results.

Experience & Skills

Seeking proven leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial savvy, and pet care knowledge. Excel in delegation, feedback response, and creating positive environments. Manitoba residents preferred for Winnipeg location.
