Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; communicate objectives; optimize processes for efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and operations. Key skills include financial acumen, conflict resolution, and pet safety knowledge. Must thrive in dynamic environments with flexible scheduling.
