Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service excellence, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; address grievances and boost engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct compliance walks; oversee inventory and events.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize processes, review security footage, and cascade business objectives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership in high-volume environments, passion for pets, and skills in team building, financial oversight, customer service, and operational efficiency. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential.
