Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service excellence, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead pet parent interactions; maintain standards via monthly walks; prioritize safety; manage inventory and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team empowerment, operational efficiency, conflict resolution, and adaptability to dynamic environments. Flexible scheduling is essential.
