Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. You'll champion company culture, achieve targets, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and manage team performance; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; handle pet parent concerns; maintain standards via monthly walks; prioritize safe environments; manage inventory and events.
- Operational Excellence: Drive financial results; review cameras for safety; respond to sick pets; collaborate on openings/closings.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven retail leaders with strong people management, customer service, and operational skills. Experience in pet retail, HR functions, safety compliance, and team motivation is essential. Must excel in communication, delegation, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced store setting.
