Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and parents; manage pet parent interactions; conduct safety walks; oversee inventory and compliance; review cameras for coaching.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include delegation, feedback response, process improvement, and safety prioritization. Flexible availability required.
