Role Overview
As Senior Copywriter, you'll be a strategic storyteller bringing clarity, heart, and intention to every line. Excel in retail's always-on pace, partnering with designers and stakeholders to deliver versatile copy across channels. Passion for words, pets, and retail required—animal lover a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Write compelling copy for digital, social, email, web/app, print, video, and in-store.
- Adapt PetSmart brand voice for channel-specific resonance and consistency.
- Concept integrated campaigns balancing big ideas with business results.
- Collaborate closely to produce best-in-class creative.
- Translate strategies into action-driving messaging.
- Present work and manage projects in deadline-driven setting.
- Leverage trends, AI tools, and own work end-to-end.
Experience & Skills
6+ years copywriting, ideally retail/in-house; stellar portfolio essential. Master grammar, brand voice, conversion-focused writing (headlines, CTAs, long-form). Proficient in Word, familiar with macOS, Adobe Suite, Figma, Workfront. Curious, solutions-oriented, AI-savvy preferred. Bachelor’s in related field a plus.
