Role Overview
As Senior Project Manager in Merchandising Technology, lead key initiatives in retail functions like pricing, promotions, replenishment, space planning, and category management. Work from our Phoenix Home Office (no visa sponsorship) with peer teams, business partners, external vendors, and integrators to deliver projects successfully. Thrive in a face-to-face collaborative environment driving PetSmart's strategic IT plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage resources, own deliverables, and facilitate project ceremonies.
- Maintain schedules, identify/mitigate risks, and control budgets.
- Handle all communications and ensure SME-level execution.
- Oversee vendor deliverables for time, scope, and quality.
- Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships.
Experience & Skills
Require 10+ years in enterprise project management, Waterfall/Agile/Scrum expertise, SDLC knowledge, 5+ years with global teams/vendors, and 3rd-party software implementations. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira, Confluence, diagramming tools, and financial management. Preferences: PMP, SAP ERP, retail tech, Bachelor’s Degree.
