Role Overview
The Sr. Director, Distribution Operations reports to the SVP, Supply Chain, providing enterprise leadership over multiple DC regions via 3-4 General Managers. Accountable for end-to-end performance—operational, financial, safety, and people—you'll architect supply chain strategy, lead transformations, and partner with Merchandising, Finance, IT, and more to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct strategic oversight of DC network, setting standards and holding GMs accountable.
- Own network financials, reducing costs through optimization, automation, and KPIs.
- Lead innovation like tech adoption, new DC launches, and scalable processes.
- Foster safety culture, talent pipelines, and succession planning.
- Influence enterprise decisions with supply chain insights.
Experience & Skills
Seek leaders with 10+ years in supply chain, proven multi-site management, and transformation expertise. Strong in financial acumen, cross-functional influence, and building high-performing teams. Bachelor's required; advanced degree a plus.
