Role Overview

As Sr. Veterinarian Program Manager - Charities, you'll lead student education and scholarship programs for emerging veterinarians in community medicine, shelters, and accessible-care settings. Own day-to-day operations including scholarships, mentorship, training, and outcomes assessment. Partner with the Director of Veterinary Affairs to support broader initiatives, data reporting, and academic partnerships. Ideal for mission-driven leaders passionate about veterinary access. Based in Phoenix, AZ, with 10-20% travel and hybrid flexibility (4 office days/week).

Key Responsibilities

Program Development and Management

  • Plan, launch, and manage student veterinary programs with refined structures and timelines.
  • Handle applications, selections, and onboarding for scholarships and participants.

Mentorship and Training

  • Build mentorship networks and deliver high-impact training with stakeholders.
  • Support university and student accessible-care experiences.

Evaluation and Reporting

  • Create metrics, analyze data, and produce reports for leadership and funders.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as key contact for students, mentors, schools, and partners.
  • Represent Charities at events and strengthen industry ties.

Experience & Skills

Requires Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in nonprofit/education/veterinary program management, project coordination, analytical skills, and strong communication. Passion for mentorship and veterinary equity essential.
