Role Overview
This onsite Veterinarian role in Tampa, FL, combines high-quality clinical medicine with leadership development. Deliver exceptional care in a fully equipped PVS hospital while gaining tools, mentorship, and support to lead operations and potentially own your franchise. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Comprehensive wellness/preventive care and client education
- Diagnosis/treatment of dogs, cats, select exotics
- Routine/advanced soft tissue surgeries
- Dental care with radiographs/extractions
- Diagnostic/treatment plans using in-house labs/imaging
- Build caseload in GP, surgery, internal medicine, etc.
Leadership & Development
- Lead/mentor team with Lead Tech
- Hire/coach for inclusive culture
- Manage staffing/inventory/marketing
- Ensure compliance and review metrics
- Transition to ownership with support
Experience & Skills
Require DVM/VMD, Florida license, 3+ years preferred in general practice. Prior leadership, communication, team collaboration, and software skills essential. Passion for client relationships and modern vet tech sets you apart.
