What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Manage projects and set objectives, leading people, technology, and financial resources.
  • Identify and develop innovative process or product improvements, taking calculated risks to achieve results.
  • Solve complex problems, leveraging experience from various areas as needed.
  • Manage the performance of direct and indirect reports, supporting team objectives and providing input to senior management.
  • Partner with leadership to achieve objectives and manage teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to SOPs and cGMP requirements.
  • Develop and manage a team of process technicians, optimizing facilities and equipment, and leading the implementation of Lean Tools.
  • Support the development of SMART Objectives, participate in best practice sharing programs, and manage the performance and training of shift colleagues and contingent staff.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience  
  • Strong people management experience in a regulated manufacturing operations environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A working knowledge of Upstream/Downstream Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) manufacturing operations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and goal-driven environment
  • Strong decision-making capability

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience with Lean Tools and their implementation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to recognize development needs and create opportunities for colleagues
  • Experience in maintaining regulatory compliance through established programs
  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such 
    as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance
