Role Overview

This 100% remote PRN Pharmacist position supports Cardinal Health's specialty pharmacy operations, focusing on prescription processing for renal disease treatments. Key Responsibilities

As a Remote PRN Pharmacist, you'll leverage expert knowledge to ensure safe, accurate medication dispensing:

• Verify physician orders using pharmacy information systems, addressing alerts on drugs, doses, and interactions specific to renal protocols.
• Enter and validate orders via emulation in client systems, prioritizing STAT and urgent queues.
• Maintain compliance with Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy rules, Cardinal Health policies, and client procedures.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, patients, and providers; handle clarifications, interventions, and drug information consults.
• Answer referral calls, review technician orders, and assist in training new staff.
• Complete required trainings, attend meetings, and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Required: Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License in Tennessee.
• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience; Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
