Role Overview

Cardinal Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Nuclear Pharmacy facility in Nashville, TN (Nucl Pharm #68). This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, primarily on an overnight schedule from 12:00a to 8:00a Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for varying shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on business needs. Earn a competitive $18.90 - $27.00 per hour, plus a $1500 new hire sign-on bonus.   • Receiving, documenting, and storing incoming/outgoing pharmaceuticals in compliance with Department of Transportation guidelines.
  • Maintaining accurate computer inventory and records to track controlled substances and materials.
  • Assisting with blood cell product labeling and performing routine laboratory and facility clean-up.
  • Providing clerical support, including record-keeping, receipt preparation, reports, and billing maintenance.
  • Delivering products to client accounts using company vehicles.
  • Addressing customer questions and concerns professionally via telephone.

All work is performed under close supervision with deviations requiring supervisor approval, ensuring precision and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates must meet these essential criteria:

  • State Pharmacy Technician license or national registration/license (required).
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Previous Pharmacy Technician experience (highly preferred); IV experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record; must be 18+ years old.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform repetitive motions/tasks.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
