Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll support pharmacists and ensure seamless operations:

• Prepare the facility for daily operations by cleaning, testing equipment, maintaining inventory, restocking, and generating reports.
• Organize, prepare, and dispense radioactive medications per manufacturer specs and customer requirements.
• Collect and process orders for efficient communication and on-time delivery.
• Handle administrative tasks like billing, customer inquiries, and physician coordination.
• Ensure safety via daily infection control, quality checks, and compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Mentor pharmacy tech trainees to foster team development.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek detail-oriented professionals comfortable in a nuclear environment:

• Texas Pharmacy Technician license (required).
• Sterile Compounding and Aseptic Technique Certification (required).
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
• National pharmacy technician registration (preferred).
• Prior Pharmacy Technician experience, especially IV work (preferred).
• Completion of Cardinal Health’s nuclear pharmacy training or prior experience.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, minimum 18 years old.
