Role Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician (Nights) - Tech II, Nuclear Pharmacy, you'll play a vital role in our 24/7 operations, working Monday-Friday 12:00am-8:30am with occasional weekend/holiday rotations (Sat 2am-9am or Sun 4am-9am). This full-time position pays $24.00 per hour and requires flexibility for overtime based on business needs. You'll assist pharmacists in compounding, dispensing, and delivering radioactive drugs used in nuclear medicine for diagnostics and therapy. No prior nuclear experience? Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you'll ensure seamless pharmacy operations:

• Prepare the facility daily: cleaning, testing equipment, maintaining inventory, restocking supplies, and generating reports.
• Follow SOPs to organize, compound, and dispense radiopharmaceuticals per manufacturer guidelines and customer specs.
• Handle order processing, entry, and fulfillment for efficient, on-time patient deliveries.
• Execute administrative duties including billing, customer inquiries, and relaying info to physicians/pharmacists.
• Uphold safety standards via daily infection control, quality checks, and regulatory documentation.
• Mentor pharmacy tech trainees, fostering team development.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek detail-oriented candidates ready for a nuclear environment:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
• North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license (preferred); national certification a plus.
• Prior pharmacy tech experience; IV compounding experience advantageous.
• Complete Cardinal Health's nuclear pharmacy training (or prior nuclear tech experience).
• Valid driver's license, clean record, 18+ years old for company vehicle use.
• Lift up to 75 lbs; comfortable with repetitive motions and technology (computers, smartphones, tablets).
• Strong communication, customer service skills; shift flexibility required.
• May need vendor credentialing.

This entry-to-mid level role involves routine tasks under moderate supervision, with problem-solving within SOPs. Maintain all licenses and certifications.
