Field Service Engineer – HPM & Ultrasound - Bilbao

Job Description

This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites and generate service revenue for Philips Hemodynamic Patient Monitoring (HPM) and Ultrasound systems across Northern Spain ( Cantabria, País Vasco, Navarra y La Rioja).

Your role:

• Your work with clinicians to provide accurate monitoring and diagnostic imaging, improving patient outcomes and hospital efficiency.

• Involve in corrective and preventive maintenance, and also in installations

• Build credibility and trust with customers by conducting pro-active customer visits.

• Provide appropriate, timely, and regular communications to customer and internal key stakeholders regarding customer and equipment issues.

• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to identify and resolve customer issues.  Follow the appropriate escalation process.

• Must be qualified and perform work in at least HPM and US modalities but will be asked to become qualified in and perform work in multiple modalities. 

You're the right fit if:

• Bachelor’s Degree in electronic or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a Health Tec environment

• Previous experience in servicing medical devices or electronic/electromechanical systems.

• Candidates without any experience will also be considered.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, customer-oriented mindset, ability to work independently in the field.

• Based in Bilbao or surrounding areas, full availability to travel, a valid driving licence

• Good level of English; knowledge of Basque will be an asset.
