Job Description

Key Account Manager – Health Systems
Develops and drives credible and productive long-term relation with customers in the assigned area (North-Est Italy), by understanding their business needs and providing tailored value propositions, being the orchestrator of the relationships with accounts.
 

 

Your role:

  • Developing, maintaining and improving relations with a limited number of key accounts to keep or to set Philips as preferred supplier.
  • Initializing and coordinating all Philips efforts to the accounts in order to maximize the output of the sales group.
  • Creating, together with marketing, services and supply chain teams, the optimal offers to the accounts.
  • Creating an account plan for each account for 2 years in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group.
  • Creating and implements action programs for and with the accounts to improve the performance of Philips.
  • Driving the performance of the functions in the accounts to get it done.
  • Systematically analysing and reporting sales results, expectations, market, competition and trends to make proposals for improvement.



You're the right fit if you have:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive proven experience in a sales or account management role within the Healthcare or Medical Devices industry, preferably with capital equipment.
  • Ability to independently manage local accounts, coordinate necessary actions, and ensure timely achievement of results.
  • Solid expertise in relevant marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and process management.
  • Basic financial understanding.
  • Capable of conducting independent negotiations with customers, aligning with established guidelines and sales plans.
  • Experience delivering presentations at an account management level.
  • Frequent interaction with customers and/or cross-functional teams, including collaboration with other company divisions or units.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (local language required)

 

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is a field role.
