About Position:

• Job Title: Philips Capital Manager Korea

• Location: Seoul, Korea(서울 중구)

Your role:

Philips Capital is the “single source of all customer financing needs” for Philips across all Businesses and Markets globally. These financing solutions range from a Standard Leases, Sale of Receivables, Pay-per-use, As-a-Service Models and are developed in close coordination with the financing partners with minimal usage of Philips balance sheet while at same time meeting market and customer requirements in a dynamic business environment

You will be part of a dynamic “one-stop-shop” for financing solutions and will be actively involved in the sourcing financing facilities and developing innovative financing solutions. You will become a partner with our sales & commercial organizations to grow sales volume, margin, customer retention and satisfaction through financing solutions.

While your primary focus will be originating and executing financing deals in South Korea, you will also be expected to collaborate with other team members to replicate the successful financing solution, both inbound and outbound.

Your responsibilities: 

Deal Origination & Structuring Financing Solutions

• Help sales team win more by providing locally relevant financing products and programs for both the private and public sector customers. The key metrics for success will be the business volumes generated/enabled for the sales & commercial team through financing solutions.
• Originate & execute both vanilla and structured financing transactions like leasing structures such Operating and Financial Leases, Distributor Financing Programs, Small Ticket Financing Programs, Pay-per-use solutions and As-a-Service Models.
• Drive out-of-the-box thought processes with sales and financing partners to create and develop solutions for the future.
• Drive and manage cross-market repeatable solutions/financing programs. Drive cross-sharing of solutions to other countries.

Risk Analysis & Risk Management

• Manage Risk to Philips by assessing deal structures and terms, manage due diligence process, engage with financial institutions & customers and negotiate deal terms and conditions, as appropriate.
• Work closely with all functional departments and ensure close co-operation with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal.

Embed Philips Capital in the Market

• Build relationships with key stakeholders and other business units / product specialists to incorporate their expertise and train the sales/business team on selling integrated value propositions from Philips (including financial solutions).
• Participate in various Industry Seminars and Conference to build presence of Philips Capital in healthcare and banking industry.

You are right fit if:

• Professional with more than 7 years’ experience.
• Experience in leasing Company with proven customer facing (sales) experience of deal origination & execution. Added advantage if you have worked in Risk analysis or operational roles as well.
• Experience in a captive financing arm of a Corporate, healthcare experience will be a strong plus.
• Financial acumen & Legal and regulatory knowledge of South Korea.
• Proficiency in English and Korean is required.
• Prior experience of working on healthcare projects will be a strong plus.
• A person with good network with Financial Institutions, Leasing Companies, and other.
