Job Description

Job Title

System Test Automation Engineer - Image Guided Therapy

Job Description

As a Test Automation Engineer, you act as a technical subject matter expert within system verification, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of automated test solutions. You support the team in achieving high-quality, stable, and efficient automated testing in a regulated, high-tech environment, contributing directly to system reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Your role:

  • You have a direct impact on system quality and verification efficiency by developing robust automated test scripts, improving automation frameworks, and ensuring reliable, validated test evidence in a regulated environment.

  • You are part of the test automation domain within the System Test organization and collaborate closely with manual testers, system test domains (such as Acquisition, Positioning, and Viewing), the Enablers team, and cross-site stakeholders in Best, Bangalore, and Suzhou.

  • You act as a technical coach and subject matter expert for test automation, guiding colleagues in scripting standards, framework usage, and best practices, while participating in peer reviews to ensure code quality and reusability.

  • This role offers the opportunity to grow technically within a specialized automation domain, contribute to cross-functional initiatives such as continuous nightly regression and mainline verification readiness, and further develop expertise in automation within a growing team.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in test automation, software verification, or quality assurance, with a strong affinity for testing rather than pure software development.

  • You have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting, and you are proficient in C#, Python, or similar programming languages, with exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tooling.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • You are proactive, energetic, and curious, show ownership and loyalty, and are willing to work in a regulated environment with additional documentation requirements.
