Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on Pinterest's advertising products and best practices, particularly lower-funnel solutions, and educate clients on product features and benefits
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for major Greater China App advertisers, aligned with their business objectives and marketing goals, and proactively identify growth opportunities and address challenges
  • Proactively cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key client decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their unique needs and provide expert guidance and support
  • Drive revenue growth through effective account management, upselling, and cross-selling, and meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns and improve client ROI, and prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Engineering, Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, and Performance Solutions, to ensure client needs are met
  • Mentor and guide other account managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment, and share best practices and provide ongoing support
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and the evolving digital advertising landscape, particularly within the Greater China App sector

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, managing high-value relationships, driving strategic learning agendas, and leading client communication
  • Experience working with Greater China Export advertisers
  • Excellent communication skills and experience managing projects that involve multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented, ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions
  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment with both technical and non-technical teams
  • A solid technical foundation and relevant experience in Search/Shopping/App/Social advertising technologies
  • Fluency in both business Mandarin and English
  • Experience working with App advertisers and Mobile Measurement Partners (MMP)
  • Comfortable with 30% of business travel
  • A Bachelor's degree is required
