As a Planner/Buyer in Materials Management, you'll drive the procurement and inventory control processes for our Riverview facility. Reporting to the Supervisor of Materials Management, this role involves creating production schedules, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring material availability without excess stock or obsolescence. Key Responsibilities

In this position, you'll handle end-to-end materials planning and buying:

• Create and monitor the Master Production Schedule, aligning net requirements with collection volumes and tracking completion.
• Maintain accuracy in ERP, Kinaxis, and Agile master data for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, including capacities, lot sizes, BOMs, and routers, partnering with Engineering and Finance.
• Perform short- and long-term forecasting, tracking materials through procurement.
• Lead direct materials purchasing, rescheduling orders based on MRP and production needs.
• Calculate safety stock for critical items and apply methodologies to reduce E&O risks.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies, manage obsolete material disposition, and handle AP discrepancies for timely payments.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Supply Planning, Collections, Engineering, Finance, and vendors.
• Track production from sorting to quality release for distribution.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek candidates with proven expertise in supply chain planning:

• 4-8 years of experience in materials management, planning, or buying (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, OEE translation to throughput, and capacity calculations.
• Experience with BPCS, SAP, AP Cora, Kinaxis, or Agile systems (preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
