  • Drive implementation of Supplier Change Requests, ensuring seamless transitions without compromising quality.
  • Serve as a key contributor on New Product Development (NPD) projects, delivering APQP elements like CTQ, PFMEA, control plans, GRR, FAI, IQ/OQ/PQ, and PPAP in partnership with Procurement, Manufacturing, and R&D.
  • Verify supplier quality systems align with FDA, EU-MDR, cGMP, and ISO 14971 standards, fostering a culture of patient safety and compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to reduce patient safety risks and elevate regulatory adherence.
  • Innovate by driving new processes and systems within the supplier quality lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, with over 5 years in manufacturing quality, engineering quality, or supplier quality within the medical device industry (active devices preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of quality tools including APQP, PPAP, SPC, process validation, statistical analysis, and risk-based sampling plans.
  • Proven application of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, cGMP, and ISO 14971 to promote compliance and safety.
  • Strong leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams in Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, Technical Services, and R&D.
  • Proficiency in multitasking within high-paced, matrixed settings, with meticulous attention to detail and project execution.
