Role Overview

As a Principal Engineer - System Infrastructure at CrowdStrike, you'll architect, implement, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure solutions for our cybersecurity platform serving millions of endpoints globally. Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Architecture & Automation

Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and multi-cloud environments. Architect single-click deployment automation for complex SaaS platforms and lead migrations from legacy systems to modern container orchestration like Kubernetes. Develop comprehensive Infrastructure as Code strategies using Terraform and CloudFormation.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid, secure software delivery. Implement GitOps methodologies and DevSecOps best practices. Architect observability solutions with cutting-edge monitoring and logging platforms. Manage enterprise-scale container orchestration on EKS and GKE.

Security & Compliance

Integrate security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning) into development workflows. Implement security-first infrastructure designs aligned with cybersecurity industry standards and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor senior engineering staff, drive architectural decisions, and lead cross-functional architecture councils. Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that advance our mission to stop breaches.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you need 10+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience, expert-level proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code. A proven track record architecting high-scale SaaS platforms is essential, alongside strong expertise in automation, CI/CD, observability, and security tools/DevSecOps practices. We're seeking patent holders or innovators with a Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably with cybersecurity experience, multi-cloud architecture (AWS, GCP), leadership in technical teams, and backgrounds in storage systems, networking protocols, and distributed systems.
