Role Overview

As a Principal Software Engineer in Nike's Corporate Functions Digital Employee Experience (DEE) organization, you'll lead the design and delivery of scalable, reliable platforms powering Nike's critical digital and data products. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you'll partner with UX designers, product leaders, architects, AI/ML experts, and governance teams. Your work will unify employee experiences across domains like Comms, Sensing, Nike Archives, Legal, Resilience, Security, and Global Places and Services, breaking silos and ensuring compliance in a globally distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this full-stack role, you'll tackle high-impact projects in a fast-paced setting:

• Build and evolve scalable software solutions for Digital Employee Experience (EX), from data ingestion to consumption.
• Design reusable frameworks, automated workflows, and libraries to support enterprise products at scale.
• Participate in architecture discussions for processing high-volume datasets using modern cloud tech.
• Translate UX/UI designs into interactive web experiences with React and Node.js, advocating for maintainable code.
• Implement enterprise-grade integrations with best practices in APIs, messaging, security, testing, and observability.
