Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Engage executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies to build awareness of MongoDB's NoSQL advantages.
• Collaborate with Sales and the Strategic Developer Relations team of senior engineers to deliver targeted technical sessions and education.
• Maintain deep expertise in MongoDB products, industry trends, and competitor analysis for strategic positioning.
• Gather customer feedback to shape the MongoDB product roadmap and champion customer needs.
• Represent MongoDB at APAC industry conferences, trade shows, and technical events as a thought leader.
• Produce thought leadership content including blog posts, whitepapers, and speaking engagements on database modernization.
• Drive MongoDB adoption for legacy migrations from Oracle, DB2, Sybase to scalable NoSQL solutions.
• Build C-level relationships while traveling up to 50% or scaling influence online.
• Leverage distributed systems knowledge in scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability designs.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Principal Staff Developer Advocate at MongoDB, you need proven expertise in enterprise database solutions and developer advocacy:

• 10+ years in Principal-level technical consulting (Solutions Architecture, Developer Advocacy, Software Architecture, Enterprise Consulting).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale RDBMS, MongoDB, or NoSQL databases.
• Track record in modernization projects migrating legacy platforms like Oracle, DB2, Sybase.
