Role Overview

The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Architect role at CrowdStrike is a pivotal technical leadership position, remote in Texas, United States. As the Lead PAM Architect, you'll design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive PAM architecture strategy across the CrowdStrike enterprise and the Falcon platform. Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Design

Develop and document a PAM architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals, enabling efficient workflows while minimizing security risks. Leverage your expertise to create scalable solutions for workload access controls, secrets management, and endpoint privilege management.

Solution Implementation and Platform Management

Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust PAM solutions using tools like BeyondTrust, Delinea, HashiCorp Vault, and custom on-premises systems. Act as SME for integrations with Active Directory, SIEM, cloud platforms, and microservices.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration

Provide guidance, validation, and quality control for PAM implementations. Partner with product engineering, IT operations, security, and compliance teams. Mentor team members, participate in hiring, and foster continuous learning.

Risk Management and Compliance

Conduct assessments, analyze access scenarios, and mitigate privileged access risks. Design and enforce policies ensuring regulatory compliance. Lead testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience and Technical Expertise

Require 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in PAM architecture. Deep knowledge of PAM capabilities like account discovery, session management, JIT, and DevOps secrets. Hands-on expertise with CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust. Strong IAM skills in federation, directories, MFA, SAML, OIDC, Kerberos, LDAP. Experience with cloud IAM in Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP.

Leadership and Soft Skills

Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and influencing abilities to present to executives. Excel in analytical problem-solving for complex scenarios. Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related; Master's preferred. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or PAM-specific boost your profile. Bonus for API security and key management.
