Role Overview

Cardinal Health is seeking a dedicated PRN Pharmacy Technician for our company-owned retail pharmacy at the West Cecil Health Center in Conowingo, MD. This as-needed role provides essential coverage for PTO and vacations, ensuring uninterrupted pharmaceutical services to underserved communities. Operating Monday-Wednesday 7:30am-7:00pm, Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, and Friday-Saturday 7:30am-2:00pm, you'll play a vital role in preparing and delivering prescriptions while building strong patient relationships. With an anticipated hourly range of $21.20-$27.18, this position offers flexibility and impact in community health.

• Maintain professional working relationships with pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.

• Organize medications for dispensing by profiling prescriptions, preparing labels, and calculating quantities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered Pharmacy Technician licensure in the state of Maryland (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience (preferred).
• Experience with 340B programs (preferred).
• Ability to obtain vendor credentialing if required.
