Adhering to radiation safety protocols and performing daily machine safety checks are essential, as is working closely with the oncology team on treatment planning. Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates must be ARRT Board eligible, with Board certification strongly preferred. A graduation from an accredited school of radiation therapy technology is required, along with Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. A Bachelor's Degree in science or equivalent experience is preferred. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts, is essential. At this level, you'll apply working knowledge to moderate-scope projects, identify solutions to technical problems, exercise judgment within parameters, and receive general guidance on new initiatives.
