Role Overview

The PRN Retail Pharmacist position at our company-owned retail contract pharmacy located at Salud Clinic in West Sacramento, California, offers flexible, as-needed shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Key Responsibilities

As a PRN Retail Pharmacist, your role involves hands-on contributions to pharmacy operations and patient care:

• Under direct manager supervision, dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to all customers.
• Maintain open lines of communication, providing consultations to customers and practitioner sites.
• Participate in supervising technical staff to optimize daily operations.
• Ensure the pharmacy adheres to best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
• Offer professional consultations to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities.
• Complete operational requirements by organizing technician workflows, verifying pharmaceutical preparation, labeling, order entries, charges, and inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this PRN Retail Pharmacist role at Cardinal Health, candidates should meet these criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Active Pharmacist registration in California.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
