Role Overview

Cardinal Health is seeking a dedicated PRN Retail Pharmacist for our location at My Community Health Center in Canton, Ohio. This as-needed position covers PTO and peak demands during Monday-Friday hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm. As a key team member in our community-focused pharmacy, you'll dispense medications, manage high-risk patients, and ensure seamless operations in a 340B contract pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you'll work under direct manager supervision to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care:

• Dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to all customers.
• Maintain open communication channels for consultations with customers and practitioner sites.
• Participate in supervising technical staff to optimize pharmacy operations.
• Drive compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
• Provide professional consultations to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities.
• Complete operational requirements by organizing technician workflows, verifying pharmaceutical preparations, order entries, charges, and inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates must meet these essential criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD strongly preferred.
• Active Pharmacist registration in Ohio.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible PRN schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
• 340B experience preferred; vendor credentialing may be required.
