The Process Lead & Specialist position at PepsiCo's Veurne site is a pivotal role for professionals passionate about manufacturing excellence. This full-time, day-shift opportunity in a file-free environment (no congestion) empowers you to lead process optimization, eliminate inefficiencies, and build team expertise. Whether you're a seasoned leader with 5+ years in production or an ambitious graduate in food technology or process engineering, this role offers a platform to make a tangible impact. You'll drive Daily Management Systems (DMS), foster innovation, and collaborate across functions to elevate line performance in a high-tech processing area.
Identify and eliminate process losses to achieve zero-loss goals. Develop and implement new standards while ensuring Daily Management Systems operate at peak efficiency, directly boosting production output and quality.
Design robust systems for data collection and analysis. Lead change management initiatives, validate process modifications, and use insights to drive informed decision-making across operations.
Mentor line teams, expand the Site Expert Trainers (SET) structure, and facilitate knowledge transfer. Build a culture of continuous learning and high performance within production squads.
Serve as the go-to expert for technical issues, supporting troubleshooting, investment projects, and enhancements in the processing domain. Hands-on involvement ensures rapid resolutions and long-term reliability.
Coordinate R&D trials, share best practices, and partner closely with Line Leads, Maintenance Leads, and engineers to innovate and standardize operations.
Candidates should bring at least 5 years of experience in a leadership or specialist capacity within a production setting. Alternatively, recent bachelor's or master's graduates in food science, process technology, bio-engineering, industrial sciences, or related fields are encouraged to apply, especially those eager to launch their FMCG careers. Essential traits include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, a coaching mindset, and true team spirit. Flexibility is key—you'll actively participate in changeovers and planned stops. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with French as an advantage.
