Role Overview

The Procurement Senior Manager – Global Resin position at PepsiCo in Plano, Texas, is a high-impact leadership role overseeing sourcing strategies for resin direct buy across the global food and beverage business. Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy Development

Partner with global resin category teams and sector procurement leads to craft and deploy world-class sourcing strategies. Focus on step-changing productivity and sustainability across PepsiCo’s food and beverage units, leveraging scale for transformative results.

Contracting and Negotiations

Lead Requests for Proposals (RFPs), high-stakes negotiations, and contracting processes in collaboration with sector Procurement teams to secure optimal terms and value.

Supply Assurance and Risk Management

Develop robust plans for end-to-end resin supply assurance. Implement hedging capabilities to mitigate risks in resin supply chains and financial markets.

Supplier Relationships and Productivity

Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships that drive cost reductions, capacity expansion, quality enhancements, sustainability, and innovation. Establish KPIs, track performance, and execute continuous improvement initiatives. Create multi-year productivity pipelines through global insights, scale leverage, and robust negotiations.

Industry Insights and Leadership

Serve as the go-to expert on PET and Polyolefin markets by engaging with peers, suppliers, financial markets, trade associations, and academia. Inspire global teams, influence leaders, and identify innovative sourcing opportunities in collaboration with Supply Chain.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must hold a BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or other applied sciences, with preference for an MBA or MS in Chemical Engineering paired with extensive Procurement experience. Require 6-8+ years in Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, or Finance, plus deep knowledge of the resin landscape. Proven leadership to influence up and across organizations is essential, alongside excellent communication, presentation, analytics, financial acumen, and program management skills. Executive-level stakeholder engagement and global sourcing expertise are paramount.
