Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Talk to customers to deeply understand their pains, needs, and workflows
• Synthesize customer learnings to guide strategic product decision-making
• Fully integrate into the Query team to analyze user needs and advocate for them
• Mine diverse data sources to uncover insights driving product innovation
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on technical constraints for new features
• Create comprehensive product requirements and user experiences
• Refine and communicate product strategy across stakeholders
• Contribute to the core query engine powering joining, sorting, indexing, and scanning
• Support MongoDB Query Language maintenance and enhancement
• Build tools helping customers debug and optimize slow queries

Work on algorithms from database theory, systems engineering, and creative problem-solving to fuel real-world workloads at scale.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field
• Technical Comfort: Dive into design/code, explore APIs, triage bugs, analyze support cases
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for customer and stakeholder interactions
• Mindset: Curious self-starter thriving in ambiguity with strong learning agility
• Availability: One quarter/semester remaining post-internship; graduation Spring 2027 or Summer 2027
• Legal: Authorized to work in Ireland with documentation
