Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

As a Product Manager for Internal AI at MongoDB, you'll drive execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting. Key responsibilities include:

• Support product execution: Manage end-to-end lifecycle from discovery tasks, writing clear requirements, prototyping, to launches and iterations under senior guidance.
• Backlog management: Maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, release notes, and lightweight roadmaps for internal AI tools.
• User research: Participate in interviews, map critical journeys, synthesize insights, and define problem statements with MVP scopes.
• Adoption & enablement: Develop UAT plans, documentation, training, and rollouts measuring time saved, CSAT, and deflection.
• Analytics & outcomes: Partner with engineering to define metrics, instrument telemetry, and report on usage and business impact.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work with IT (Applications, Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk) and business teams to clarify needs and unblock work.
• Governance: Apply responsible AI guardrails with data, security, and compliance for ethical AI deployment.
• AI evangelism: Lead share-outs, demos, and office hours to build awareness of shipped features and roadmap.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Product Manager 3, Internal AI at MongoDB, bring:

• 3–5 years in product management, IT, data, or software roles (internships and projects count).
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows: LLMs, agents, copilots, prompt design, evaluation for enterprise use cases.
• Strong PM craft: Concise PRDs, acceptance criteria, discovery processes, engineering partnerships.
• Excellent communication to translate tech into user value across stakeholders.
• Data comfort: Experimentation, funnels, dashboards for tracking adoption and outcomes.
• Awareness of responsible AI: Privacy, security, bias mitigation, and guardrails.
