Key Responsibilities at Datadog

As Product Manager for Bits Chat, you'll drive transformative impact across Datadog's ecosystem:

• Own product vision and roadmap for Bits Chat across application, CLI, and collaboration surfaces in cloud observability.
• Define interaction patterns for questions, answers, and actions in Datadog UI, CLI, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Applied Science, and Design to build multi-step agent interactions operating across interfaces.
• Manage conversational context, user intent, permissions, and system state preservation across surfaces and sessions.
• Set quality metrics like task completion rate, latency, correctness, safety, and user trust for agent systems.
• Integrate Bits Chat into observability, security, and platform workflows without UX fragmentation.
• Ensure secure, auditable actions triggered through chat and CLI in production environments.
• Evangelize best practices for conversational AI and agent-driven experiences across Datadog teams.
• Shape how engineers experience AI-assisted DevOps workflows in real-world cloud applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years as Product Manager building developer-facing SaaS products or cloud infrastructure features.
• Fluency in APIs, CLI tools, conversational AI, and agent interfaces.
