In this role, your day-to-day will involve owning product execution from backlog grooming to release approval. You will articulate user needs, business outcomes, and acceptance criteria, while collaborating on 90-day plans and release strategies. Regular participation in agile ceremonies, impediment removal, and stakeholder demos will keep projects on track. Acting as the customer's voice, you will incorporate feedback from interviews and testing to refine priorities. Additionally, you will communicate status updates, manage cross-team dependencies, and promote agile best practices through continuous learning.
Symetra seeks experienced professionals with a college degree or equivalent work experience, plus relevant professional certifications. Ideal candidates bring 5-8 years of cumulative experience in product ownership, agile environments, or related fields. You should possess authoritative knowledge of the systems in development, strong skills in backlog management, user story development, and stakeholder liaison.
