• Publish Reference Materials: Capture repeatable customer use cases and develop Reference Architectures, Implementation Guides for prospects and customers.
• Create Educational Content: Build world-class training materials, solutions briefs, blogs, and documentation showcasing latest Synthetics features for Datadog's field technical teams.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, Community, Documentation, and Evangelism teams to drive Synthetics success within our Digital Experience suite.
• Hands-On Validation: Exercise products by building small-scale deployments, proofs of concept, and reproducing customer environments to verify solutions.
• Technical Deep Dives: Dive into codebases, SDKs, GitHub processes, JSON/YAML configs, and Terraform IaC in CI/CD workflows.
• Customer Success Ownership: Ensure solutions fully function per business requirements in high-pressure situations, traveling up to 40% as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as a Product Solutions Architect 3 - Synthetics at Datadog, you need proven expertise in synthetics monitoring and observability. We're seeking self-starters with deep technical knowledge who thrive on bleeding-edge technology.

• Strong hands-on experience with synthetics products and testing strategies.
• Proficiency diving into codebases, SDKs, GitHub processes, JSON/YAML, and Terraform for IaC in CI/CD.
• Deep understanding of client-side, frontend/backend performance metrics, synthetic testing, failure modes.
• Fluency in observability market, competitors (New Relic, Dynatrace), and customer needs specific to synthetics.
• 5+ years as Architect/Consultant with observability tools; SRE/DevOps experience preferred.
